Re: Is there a difference between garden parties and BBQ’s?
In my experience, you drink Stella in one and Pimms cocktails in the other. Both usually end up messy but the level of violence used in the former is much, much worse.

BBQ - "Nice one Dave, what time we starting?"
Garden Party - "Fuck off."

Re: Is there a difference between garden parties and BBQ’s?
It's all swings and roundabouts.

For instance, a BBQ poolside outdoes a garden party, unless Michael Barrymore turns up.

Where as an illuminati nuns and vicars tea cake garden party with Anne Diamond and Wincey Willis is great, until both Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan turn up.

Don't ask.
